| Comments: | Doheny Ladies Football- Decision Time Due to a poor turnout at last Fridays AGM, a decision was taken to re-schedule the AGM for this Thursday, Feb 2nd at 8pm in the Pavilion. The club was disappointed with the lack of support from parents and players. Depending on attendance, it will be decided on the night whether the club can facilitate training for the coming year. With a large number of girls to cater for from U8 upwards, we urge parents to please get involved and show your support for the club your children particpate in. As always, we welcome any new members. |

Presentation night for U15, U13 and U12 will take place Friday February 3rd in the G.A.A. pavilion starting at 7:30! Special guest on the night Ciaran Sheehan, Cork dual player! Everyone is more than welcome and a great night is assured! |

Dr. Jim young (Eamon youngs) brother captained the cork senior hurlers . He won county titles with the glen rovers club in the 40's i think . I dont know did he play with the dohenys before joining the glen . Maybe someone else would have an answer to that question . |

Well done to Darren Sweetnam on his appearance with the Cork Seniors over the weekend. I am sure it will be the first of many over the next few years. I presume he is the 1st in our 125 year history ? |
