U10 PARISH LEAGUES UPDATED - (Number of times read: 1323)

For the U10 Parish leagues the following captains and vice captains were drawn out of a hat watched eagerly by the players. The 1st round of the leagues begin night with Team A (Dublin) playing Team B (Mayo) and Team C (Donegal) playing Team D (Cork).
Update:
At Sam Maguire park on Wednesday night last, 4 teams of U10's took to the bottom pitch under the new lights. After a heavy surplus of rain, the youngsters found it tough going and difficult to control the ball. This was especially so when trying to bounce the ball as it either skidded off the surface or stopped dead in a pool of water. Overcoming these conditions they really got stuck into a great game of hard working football. Dublin and Mayo traded scores early on and with no more than 2 points between the teams throughout Dublin won by the narrowist of margins. Likewise in the other game, Donegal and Cork were only seperated by a point at the final whistle with Cork just edging it. With all 4 teams so close on the night it looks like it is going to be a thrilling and exciting parish leagues. All the best to the U10's in the forecoming rounds
