A fundraising Table Quiz will be held in the Southern Bar on Thursday the 5th of April at 9.30pm. Please support as this is a vital source of income for the club.
The minor footballers played the first 2 league game of the season over the past few weeks and had a comprehensive victory over Skibbereen. Final score was 2-11 to 0-2. This was followed by a heavy defeat away to Naomh Aban were they lost by 15pts to 1-4. Training is commencing next Monday night 2nd April at 7.00pm and will continue every Monday night at the same time.
The Under 16 footballera are acquitting themselves well and are starting to come to terms with life in the Premier 1 grade. They recently defeated Na Parsaigh at home on a scoreline of 3-12 to 3-5 with some outstanding individual displays by Jamie Carroll,Adian O Donavan,Eoin Lavers and the ever reliable Jack O Conner. This followed on from a draw away to Bishopstown and an earlier defeat to St Nicks.
The U16 hurlers are away to Pedlars Cross on Monday evening the 2nd April with the game timed for 6.45pm.
The U14 hurlers are away to the same opposition on next Saturday 31st March at 3pm.
The Under 12 Footballers are away to Inniscara on Sunday next 1st April at 6.30am.
The Under 11 Footballers are at home to Killeagh St Itas at 12 midday on Saturday next 31st of March.
The Under 8,9 and 10 Footballers have commenced training on Wednesday evenings at 6.45pm.
