This was another busy week for Sam Maguire
U13 hurlers were at home to Cabery Rangers on Monday night. They produced some good hurling.
U14 hurlers were at home to Kilbree on Thursday night. They were very slow to start but gave an excellent account of themselves. Especially Cathal O’ Donavan at centre back.
U10 travelled to Castlehaven last Friday night. A very enjoyable evening was had by all.
U11 footballers were away to Carrigtwohill on Saturday.
U12 footballers were at home to Bantry. These teams are making excellent progress in their football skills.
U16 footballers were out to Kilbrittain and Peddlers and won both games. The mentors were well pleased.
Minor hurlers travelled to Inniscarra on Sunday evening. Unfortunately they came out at the wrong end of the score.
The annual Sam Maguire Underage Club Table Quiz is being held in the Southern Bar on next Thursday night 21st April 2011 at 9.30pm.Please support this event as it is an important fundraiser for the club.
