As usually this was another busy week for Sam Maguire’s as there is 17 teams to be catered for.
Minor hurlers played Newstown at home on Thursday evening. Someone got their wires crossed, as no referee turned up.
Under 14 hurlers travelled to Bantry for their first league game. They gave an excellent account of themselves and were narrowly beaten by Bantry.
Padraig O’ Mahony, Jack Mc Giveren, Adrian Cronin, James O’ Neill, Daniel Hayes, Kevin O’ Mahony, Eoin O’ Sullivan, Mark Buckley, Nickolas O’ Bryan, Kevin Murphy, Niall Bouquet, Cathal O’ Donavan, Ray Jennings, Sean Hutson, Padraig Crowley Subs: Jerry Farrell, Daniel O’ Sullivan and Killian Farr.
Under 11 hurlers were away to Bishopstown on Saturday morning. They played 2 games at 12 a side. This was a very enjoyable day for everyone involved.
