Last Thursday saw the Ladies end there league campaign, being beaten in the semi-final by a strong Boherbue side. Dohenys got off to a good start, netting a goal in the first five minutes. Boherbue settled down quickly though and responded with a brace of points to give them the advantage of a five point lead at  half time.  Dohenys enjoyed a good possession spell in the second half but failed to utilise it. With a depleted side due to holiday committments and the bare 15 players, they battled on but  Boherbue took control of the game and scored some fine points to run out deserving winners on a scoreline of 2-18 to 2-8. Special mention must be given to the u14 girls Amy Murray and Helen Farr who have come into the side and played with such strengh and experience beyond their years, definatley stars of future. Team; N. O'Donovan, M. Hurley, S Rice, M. Mawe, H. Farr, T. Lawton, G. Collins, C. McCarthy, I. Mawe, N. Farr, S. Collins, C. Moloney, Mairead Collins, Marie Collins, A. Murray.
