Seniors
The Doheny Seniors had a good win over St. Michaels in the Kelleher Shield on Saturday evening last on a score-line of 1-11 to 0-09. The seniors with the aid of a strong breeze in the first half failed to take full of advantage it and were only 3 points up at half time on a score-line of 0-06 to 0-03. Credit to the team, they rallied in the second half producing some outstanding football, kicking some splendid scores on the counter attack and ended up deserved victors despite St. Michael’s best efforts. Junior A Footballers:
The Junior A Footballers produced their best performance of the year to date beating O’Donovan Rossa in Skibbereen on Wednesday 10th on a score-line of 1-09 to 1-04 in the league. It was a good all round team performance. Young Johnny Kelly gave a 5-star performance scoring 1-05 in total.
