Playing Activities:
Training commences for all adult Doheny players i.e.
seniors, juniors & u21s (both hurling & football) this Friday evening
12th of January at 7.30pm in Sam Maguire Park.
Congratulations to Eoin Lavers who played for the Cork
Senior footballers on Sunday last in their comprehensive victory over Waterford
in the McGrath Cup semi-final.
Scor na nOg:
Congratulations to Shannon Buttimer who was crowned Munster
Scorn na nOg champion in recitation for the second successive year. This
is a fantastic achievement. The finals were hosted in the presence of a
large attendance at the Eire Og GAA Pavilion, Ovens last Sunday. Shannon
progresses to the All-Ireland Scor na nOg final in Sligo on Saturday, February
11th & we wish her every success.
Lotto:
There was no winner of the Doheny GAA Club’s Lotto Jackpot
of €1,200 held on Sunday night last. The numbers drawn were 14, 20 &
32. Consolation prizes went to Oisin O’Donovan, Shamrock Bar, Gary
Coughlan c/o Nealums & Fionn Collins Ros Gael. The jackpot now stands
at €1,400 and the next draw takes place in the Nealums on Sunday night 14th
of January 2018.
