Good luck to the Doheny Ladies Junior team who are playing in the 1st round of the West Cork Championship on Wednesday evening against Bantry. The game is fixed for Bantry at 8.15pm. This should be an interesting clash and your support would be appreciated.
The girls were unlucky in the Munster 7's competition held in Clonakilty recently and in all games started well, held the lead for a time but were unlucky in the dying minutes of the matches. It was a great team building experience and the girls can be applauded for their efforts especially on a day where the rain was a spoiltsport. Much praise must also be given to the Clonakilty club for hosting such a successful event.
The club would also like to congratulate Catriona Murphy who won the U18 Ladies All Ireland crown at the weekend's All Ireland Road Bowling championships. Catriona is an active member of the club, so we would just like to say well done to her, on her achievement.
