Senior footballers played a friendly game against Arklow Gearldines Ballymoney, who travelled to the Doheny club for the weekend. They were very interested about the history of the Doheny club, how it was founded 125 years ago and about Dunmanways most famous son, Sam Maguire.

Junior footballers played St. Marys in a challenge game last Thursday night. This was a great workout of the lads. As they were away to Bantry last Saturday. Both teams gave it their best Declan Dwyer getting one goal and Brian McCarthy getting the other. Dohenys 2g. 10pts. Bantry 13pts.
