Questions and answers night was a very successful night for all who attended and the organisers. The four panellists Paudie O’ Shea, Teddy McCarthy, Richie Bennis and John Allen gave good honest answers to the questions put to them from the floor. Chairman Jerry O’ Mahony welcomed everybody to this special function to mark the Dohenys 125 years, he also gave a brief detail of the club history and how it was founded 125 years ago. He paid a special tribute to the clubs former officers, committee members and players. Timmy Buckley did an excellent job as MC on the night. This event raised the profile of the Doheny Club significantly.
Junior A hurlers played Clonakilty last Wednesday night. They had a very good work out.

Weekly lotto next week’s jackpot is €3800. Both clubs would like to thank our supporters of the lotto and ticket sellers, as this is our main source of income. We would hope everyone would support our lotto as our G.A.A. Club plays a great contribution to the town and the surrounding area. It should be everyone’s ambition to keep our G.A.A. Club in a stable condition especially in these times. The Doheny G.A.A. Club has great ambitions and plans for the future ahead.
