It’s been a busy time for players and management alike over the past week as a host of challenge games were played.  The Doheny juniors were defeated by Clondrohid on a score-line of 0-07 to 1-10.  The Clonakilty senior footballers finished strongly to beat our senior men 2-10 to 1-08 in a highly competitive challenge game on Friday evening last.  On Sunday evening the Junior A Hurlers continued their good form with another convincing win over St. Colums winning on a scoreline of 4-15 to 0-11. 

 

Lotto

There was no winner of the Doheny GAA Club’s Lotto Jackpot of €2,400 held on Monday night last.  The numbers drawn were 11, 30 & 37.   Consolation prizes went to James McCarthy, Kilronan, Claire Crowley, Castle St and Patricia O’Mahony, Enniskeane.  The jackpot now stands at €2,600 and the next draw takes place in the Pavilion on Monday next, 20th of July.

The Doheny lotto tickets can be purchased through the usual ticket sellers i.e. Jerry O’Mahony & Paul Murray etc or in the following premises Supervalu, D Oil, Parkview Stores (Gordons), Dunmanway Launderette & Connolly’s Shoe Shop.  Also members of the Doheny Club are selling tickets on market day on Thursday in the Square.
