Playing Activities Workshop
With the clubs A.G.M. scheduled for Saturday December 4th. it was decided to hold a workshop on playing activities prior to this. The workshop will be open to all members, players and will give everyone an opportunity to review the past year. This Saturday November 5th is the selected date for the workshop and is timed to commence at 5.30pm.
History Book Launch
The Launching of the the 25 year history book, 1986 to 2011, of the club will be held at The Pavilion on Thursday November 10th. at 8.30pm. One of the longest serving members of the club Finbarr Hennessy will have the honour of Launching the book. Finbarr now resides in Mayfield in Cork and is the current clubs County Board Delegate. He was a player and officer of the club in the fifties and early sixties. His work with C.I.E. took him to Cork, as part of the closure of the West Cork Railways, in the early sixties and he still maintains his membership of the club to this day.
Sam Maguire Underage
Though adult playing activities have come to a seasonal end the underage are still very active.The U12 footballers won the Southwest league final at Sam Maguire Park on Monday last when they defeated Clonakilty on the score of 3-08 to 3-04. This was a game of two halves as Sams controlled the first and had a convincing lead at halftime on the score of 2-06 to 0-02. The second half saw Clonakilty make a great fight back but Sams held out for the win on the score of 3-08 to 3-04.

U 13 Football,
The u13 footballers played Valley Rovers away in County Premier 2 league and after a very close game they came away with a win on the score of 3-08 to 3-06.

U15 Football
The u15 footballers had a convincing win over Mayfield in the Premier 2 championship on the score of 2-10 to 1-06. This game was played at Ballinhassig on Monday last.

Lotto
The numbers drawn in the weekly lotto draw were 13, 16, 30,. There was no winner of the jackpot of €1,600. Prizes of €50 were won by Colm McSweeney Ros Geal, Berna & Ereinn Collins Prospect Lawn, Declan Smith, Dun Ogra. The jackpot next week will €1,800 and the draw will be in The Pavilion on Sunday night.
