The following is the list of events for the "Celebration of Sam Maguire" weekend, to be held in Dunmanway from the 10th to 12th of September.

6.30 p.m. | Pipe Band playing in Dunmanway
Town Square |
7.00 p.m. | Parade of County Colours,
Flags and Jerseys from St. Patrick’s Hall
involving children from all schools of the parish |
7.30 p.m. | Opening ceremony at Sam Maguire
Plaza by Niall Cahalane
former Cork All Ireland winning footballer. Followed by parade to Sam Maguire
Memorial Park |
8.00 p.m. | Fun and games for
children in the Sam
Maguire Memorial
Park |
9.30 p.m. | Traditional Night of
Music and Song by Dunmanway C.C.E. in the G.A.A. Pavilion. Everyone welcome!

10.30 a.m. | Underage G.A.A. blitz for
boys and girls at the Sam
Maguire Memorial
Park |
11.00 a.m. | Coffee morning in the G.A.A.
Pavilion |
8.00 p.m. | Mass in St. Patricks
Church with choir and traditional music |
9.00 p.m. | Saturday Night Dance in
the G.A.A. Pavilion - Music by Finbarr Dennehy |

11.00 a.m. | Service in St. Marys
Church followed by wreath laying ceremony at Sam Maguire Grave |
12.30 p.m. | Vintage Run starting from
the Long Bridge, through the town and onto
Mallabracka |
2.00 p.m. | Old Time Thrashing at Sam
Maguire Homestead in Mallabracka.
Enjoy music, song and dance. Refreshments also provided. Proceeds in
aid of CoAction |
6.00 p.m. | B.B.Q. in Sam Maguire
Memorial Park with
music by The Screaming Celts |
9.30 p.m. |  Live music by
John Spillane in G.A.A. Pavilion. Admission only €10, tickets available at
the door on the night |
