Comments: the hurlers were unlucky on sun in balineen, but they seem to persist in this short passing and solo runs instead of letting the ball go early into the forwards .. are they being told to play like this or is it players think they are mavericks on the field and want to do it all on their own .. has anyone else an opinion on it

Comments: I met Sean OG over a year ago here in Melbourne . He asked how all the dohenys were and said that Darren Sweetman will be a player to watch out for the future. I bet him or Darren wouldnt of thought they would line up together I'm midfield for cork. Great achievement.

Comments: Went to Templetouhy last Sat for Voc. All-Ireland Final.Great game of football and great for our two clubmen, Maurice and Mark. Both did not let us down and Mark with a bit of luck could have finished the game at half time, with two rockets off the crossbar Well done to ye both. Then returned to Pairc Ui Rinn to see our other clubman, Darren, in action in the first game of the National Hurling League. What a fine performance from Darren and we were all proud Dohenys on Sat night. Well done again to the three of you.
