The Club’s first championship outing is this Sunday 9th of March at 2pm in Enniskeane when the U21 A Footballers take on Newcestown in the 1st round of the Clona Milk sponsored U21 A Championship. Preparations for this match have gone reasonably okay. The team has played 6 challenge games in the lead up to this championship match. The most recent challenge game was against Castlehaven in Castlehaven on Friday evening last. Although the Dohenys were missing a number of key players the game was extremely competitive & a good work out for this coming weekend. The final score on the night was 1-13 to 3-06 in favour of the Haven. Newcestown will be stiff opposition this Sunday & your support would be greatly appreciated.
Fixtures: The U16 Footballers are fixed to play Kilmeen this Thursday 6th of March at 7.30pm in Sam Maguire Park
