The victorious u21B hurling Southwest champions will be honoured at a function in The Pavilion on this Saturday night. Medals will be presented to the the successful team panel members. Player of the year, Clubman of the year and newly wed members will also be honoured. All club members and supporters are invited to attend. A gala night is assured with food and music provided.Tickets for only €10 can be purchased at the door.
Last weekends senior football fixture Dohenys versus Carbery in the Paddy Minihane memorial tournament was cancelled due to the death of Mrs O Donovan of Derrinasafa. Mrs O Donovan was mother of clubman Donal and grandmother of players Micheal, Timmy, Daniel. The club extends its sincere sympathy to all the O Donovan family.
The senior footballers are billed to play Newcestown in the Tadg O Crulaoi cup at home on this Saturday at 2.30pm.
The numbers drawn in the the weekly lotto draw were 4, 7, 38. There was no winner of the jackpot of €3,800. Prizes of €50 were won by Jack Duggan, The Euro, Mary O Donovan, Kildee, Maureen Crowley Sackville St. The jackpot next week will be €4,000 and the draw will be in Nealum's Bar.
